A lot of homes have front steps with no railing at all - or one that's rusted, wobbly, and doing more harm than good. It's one of those things that gets overlooked until someone slips or a guest grabs onto something and it shifts. That's where we come in.
We installed a fresh set of aluminum railings on both sides of this front entry. The decorative scroll detailing gives it a finished, intentional look that fits the character of the home - not just a plain tube bolted to the stairs. It's the kind of detail that makes the whole front of the house look more put together.
Aluminum is our go-to for front step railings because it holds up. It won't rust out the way steel does, it doesn't need repainting every few years, and it stays solid through freeze-thaw cycles that would work loose a cheaper install. What you see here is built to stay put.
Beyond the looks, there's a real safety benefit here. Having a secure railing on both sides of the steps means better support for everyone coming and going - kids, older family members, guests carrying groceries. It's a small upgrade that makes a big everyday difference.
We build our railings to fit the space, not just drop in something generic. The proportions, the style, the way it sits against the brick - all of it matters to us. If your front steps are missing a railing or the one you have has seen better days, this is what a proper replacement looks like.
