Some spots around a home just get overlooked - and the side entry is usually one of them. It gets used every single day, but it rarely gets the attention it deserves. No railing on a set of steps like this is a real safety issue, especially for older family members or anyone carrying groceries, bags, or kids.

Here's what we were working with: a raised stone landing with a staircase leading down to a paver patio. Good bones, solid construction, but zero support going up or coming down. That's the kind of thing you don't think about until someone slips or grabs for something that isn't there.

We fabricated and installed a black metal railing system that runs the full length of the stair handrail and wraps around the landing perimeter. Clean vertical balusters, consistent spacing, and a solid top rail that gives you something real to hold onto. It's not decorative - it's functional first, and it just happens to look sharp doing its job.

This is exactly the kind of work we do every day. Whether it's exterior deck railings, side entry steps, or interior railings inside your home, the goal is always the same - built right, built to last, and finished clean. No shortcuts.

A railing like this costs far less than most homeowners expect, and it adds genuine safety and value to a space that gets used constantly. It's one of those upgrades that pays for itself the first time someone reaches out and grabs it.
