A front entry without railings is a safety issue waiting to happen - especially on a raised stoop with multiple steps. This is exactly the kind of job we do a lot of, and it's one of those upgrades that makes an immediate difference for both safety and the way a home looks from the street.

We installed a full aluminum railing system on this front entry, including stair rails on both sides of the steps and a full panel railing section across the top of the landing. The white powder-coated finish ties in cleanly with the home's trim and door, giving the whole entry a sharp, put-together look.

What makes aluminum a smart choice for residential railings is the combination of strength and low maintenance. No rust, no repainting every few years, no worrying about what winter weather or summer humidity is going to do to it. It holds up, and it keeps looking good without a lot of effort on the homeowner's end.

The installation itself is clean - posts are plumb, the rail angles follow the pitch of the steps naturally, and the top landing section is solid with evenly spaced balusters throughout. That kind of consistency doesn't happen by accident. It comes from taking the time to set everything right before it gets locked in permanently.

Whether you've got a simple set of front steps or a more involved entry layout, aluminum railings are one of the better investments you can make in a home. Functional, durable, and they look good doing it.
