Some front entryways just need the right finishing touch - and a solid set of railings can completely change the feel of a home's entrance. This was one of those jobs where the bones were already there: a classic brick row home, stone steps, and a clean front door. What was missing was a railing setup that could pull it all together and actually hold up over time.

We installed new black powder-coated aluminum railings on both sides of the front steps, plus two aluminum columns to support the awning above the landing. The powder-coat finish isn't just about looks - it creates a hard, weather-resistant barrier that fights rust and holds its color far better than paint ever could. Aluminum is already naturally resistant to corrosion, so the combination of the two gives you a railing that's going to look sharp for years without a lot of upkeep.

What we love about this kind of install is how much the details matter. The posts are set solid, the lines are straight, and the railings run clean from the base of the steps all the way up to the landing. Every time someone grabs that rail coming up those steps, it should feel firm and secure - not like it's going anywhere.

Beyond the safety side of things, railings like these just make a home look more put-together. The black finish works really well against the warm brick and tan stone, giving the whole entryway a sharp, intentional look. It's the kind of upgrade that quietly adds curb appeal without being flashy about it.

This is exactly the type of work we do every day - residential railings that are built right, finished well, and meant to last. Whether it's a set of front steps or a larger porch setup, we treat every install the same way: clean, strong, and built to last.
