Roof access points need more than just a railing slapped in place. They need something built with intention - solid footing, clean welds, and a gate that actually functions the way it should. That's exactly what this job called for.
We fabricated and installed a white aluminum railing system with a built-in gate on a flat roof section of a brick building. The railing wraps the access area cleanly, giving anyone stepping out onto that roof a clear boundary and something sturdy to hold onto. The gate swings open without fighting you, and it latches securely when closed. Simple, but that's the point.
Aluminum is our go-to for applications like this. It doesn't rust, it holds up through every season, and it stays looking clean without a lot of maintenance. On a roof where moisture is always a factor, that matters. A lot.
The post footings are anchored tight to the roof surface, and the vertical pickets are evenly spaced throughout the run. Nothing looks rushed or thrown together. Every weld is clean, every corner is square, and the gate hardware is heavy-duty enough to handle daily use.
This is the kind of work we do when the job needs to be right - not just done. Balcony railing installation, roof access railings, gates - we build them to hold up and look good doing it.
